In many of today’s  papers a grim milestone for the country was reached as the jobless rate for October soared above ten percent. It’s the first time since the eighties that the rate has hit that high and no doubt the pressure will be on Washington to get moving on job creation. History has always shown that job development lags significantly behind economic growth but despite the fact that it was reported the economy had begun growing again in the summer, the high rate of unemployment is of concern to  everyone .
